[read more=”Read More” less=”Read Less”]Graduated from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura (ETSAM) in 1997. She is founding partner together with Jesus Hernandez of the Rotterdam based office Casanova+Hernandez architecten / architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture. Since 2001, she has been leading this internationally oriented office developing projects on very different scales in Europe, South America and Asia. The office has been awarded in several international competitions, such as the Marubi National Photo Museum in Albania, the Ceramic Museum in Jinzhou, China, the master plan for Lichterfelde Süd in Berlin, the Cooltower in Rotterdam, Europan 6 in Groningen and Europan 7 in The Hague.
The work of the office has also been spread throughout Europe, US, South America, Asia and Australia by different lectures and monographs (Wasmuth Publishers, Berlin; Actar, Barcelona/New-York; Damdi Publishers, Seoul). Helena has been teaching since 2002 at TU Delft, AvB Rotterdam, AvB Arnhem, Lebanese American University and Shenzhen University. She has also been guest professor at the Berlage Institute.[/read]
