Prize giving ceremony Europan 10 |

On Sunday 17 January 2010 the Chief Government Architect Liesbeth van der Pol presented the prizes for the winners of the Dutch Europan 10 sites. After an inspiring lecture by the Chief Government Architect the designers of the plans with a special mention were invited on stage. After that the runners-up followed. But for the sites the most important moment of the afternoon was of course the announcement of the first prize winners. For they will start talks with each other for the coming time. That same night the first contacts were made between laureates and site representatives during an informal diner in the NAI. |

There was not much time to party, because the next day work had to be done already. During a workshop first prize winners and site representatives talked about the follow-up of the winning projects. The talks were led by board members of Europan and supported by former Europan winners. Within de coming weeks the four Dutch sites will mainly work on the organisation of local Europan 10* activities in order to generate publicity for Europan and for the outcome of Europan 10. Furthermore agreements were made for further acquaintance and study assignments. * keep an eye on this website! |
