Zaanstad Zaanwerf (Europan 02)

The site is part of the Zaanoever project, an eleven-kilometres-long strip along the banks of the river Zaan, where a new urban glamour should be created on former industrial area. Buildings on the site have to strengthen the housing function of the centre of Zaanstad, promote the relation with the adjacent residential neighbourhood and improve the living environment by creating an attractive public space along the bank of the river Zaan.
